After 2.5 years of painful search for the old formulation bottle of YSL La nuit de l'Homme i finally found a full 100ml new bottle!! Couldnt be happier as this old formulation is one of the of my favorite scents ever! Hi, this is my first post here on this forum, but recently I tried out the current iteration of YSL's LNDL, and it was probably one of the nicest fragrances I've ever smelled. I heard around the forum and the internet that the vintage version and original formulation (2009-2010) was the best version, and I was hoping to get my hands on it.
YSL La nuit de l'homme is still good in 2020. Although it has been repeatedly criticized for poor performance on various forums and YouTube videos, I actually get amazing longevity out of this fragrance. I had listened to the constant hate it received and figured it would not last more than 3 hours as commonly stated.
La Nuit de l'Homme by Yves Saint Laurent is a sophisticated and alluring fragrance. It begins with a fresh and spicy blend of cardamom and bergamot. The heart features warm notes of cedarwood and lavender, adding a rich, aromatic quality.
Le Parfum and EDP aren't just stronger versions of La Nuit so you need to try them first. The entire L'homme line has terrible longevity so I don't recommend any of them.
