Hundreds (thousands?) of watches: Rolex, Patek, AP. you name it. One Rolex example that sticks out in my memory is seeing five BLNRs next to two BLROs in the same window display. Watches from the district are flipped 1,000 times. Not to mention the high volume of frankenwatches that are proliferated through that network. Selling would be a dump job, highly doubt you’ll get anywhere near secondary market value.
Has anyone bought a watch in the Diamond District in NYC before? I found a Rolex Explorer II 16570 at a booth and the price seemed fair.I spotted more fake watches being sold as real. Who throws K+ AP and Rolex loosely on top of each other? There are some nice stones being sold at some of the more reputable dealers.
