I don't think the OP is saying Rolex isn't a good watch. He is saying there are other luxury watch makers out there besides Rolex but, for some reason, poor people seem to think if your luxury.
To my dad, a Timex was as good as a Rolex. Today I myself am married, we live much more comfortably than my parents did. I have been obsessed with the Tudor BB39 blue since it came out. I am going to be in a position within a few months to be able to get any Tudor, Omega, or even Rolex that I would want.
