I have a dial option sheet (without photos) for 5-digits which lists ones not shown here, but I think all the photo-lists I’ve seen have “13/18038-etc.” like these, where the “etc.” . You can see dial holes in the spacers at 12 and 42 minutes (ETA positions) in both those samples. However, your kit has a movement holder that the movement sits into and then . Cases are made to fit movements. Modding your watch by replacing the damaged dial is probably easier than a case/movement swap. Doing a movement swap is possible in . Both have raised crystal, brushed lugs, and non solid link bracelet. Not only that but both models use different types of dial fitment/attachment. The 1803 dials are clip on. They have a substantial "dropped/wrapped" edge which clips around the edge of the calendar ring. The later 18038 etc. have flat dials with dial feet which fit in to holes in the calendar ring and are then secured with screws.

The 2834-2 is fitted at the factory with the same date disc as used on the 2824-2. If you are going to remove the 2834-2 "day-at-twelve" disc and go with a straight date only display, I would suggest using a 2836-2 disc, as it will bring the date to the bottom of the window. I'm considering the option of making a hybrid 3155 movement based on a 3135 clone base, adding gen parts to make it a day-date movement . but that will depend on the total price of the parts.
