Chanel prices for the timeless classic and re-issue bags will increase in the US starting November 15, 2017. A classic bag price increase has not happened since May 2014, approx 3.5 years ago. While Coco Handle prices have increased to about 10-15%, which have already taken effect.
There have been especially notable pricing increases in 2021 and 2022. Instead of a single, yearly price increase, Chanel has incrementally bumped the price up every quarter. For example, between November 2021 and March 2022, the price underwent a 13% increase. There were already rumors circulating about the price increase on the Chanel Classic Bags in the United States (US). Yet there were still many questions unanswered.
